Next Solidarity Sunday: February 11th, 1pm-4pm
Next Solidarity Fund Opening: TBC
The solidarity fund gives £30 to anyone living in Lambeth. The cost of living is going up and things are hard for many of us in Lambeth. If you could do with an extra £30 you can apply for a grant via this form. We’re trialing a queue system, where we leave the form open for a week, and when there is money in the fund, we’ll send an email to people asking for proof of address. Once we’ve got that we’ll send over the cash or arrange for it to be picked up. If you don’t have a fixed address, that’s okay – we can figure something out! Sign up to our newsletter below to get a reminder a few days before, and on the day.
We currently get about £1000 a month. We’re looking to increase this to around £2000. This would mean we could help around 65 people/families with grants of £30 each month. If you can donate one off or monthly, please do so at our Open Collective site.
Each month we meet up on the second Sunday between 12-4, at the Platform Cafe in Loughborough Junction. All are welcome to join. We share drinks, food, stories and support. We link up with groups and people around the borough to build a strong network. We aim to bring decision making about the solidarity fund to these mornings so that we are all collectively responsible.
If we’re unable to help we signpost people to different groups, services and people who may be able to offer support. Check out the More Support page to see a list of support offered around the borough.
