Before we get into the update the key info: the £50 fund grant applications will be open this Saturday 24th September 12pm. We’ll be meeting the following Monday process applications so that you get the money before the 1st October.

Help with Flyers

We’ve been finding it really hard to raise money as well as running the fund, answering emails, singposting people to useful places, people and resources. If you are able/available to pop posters and flyers out around Lambeth, or help us to get the message out online please give us an email (by responding to this email) or DM us on Twitter.

Oct 1st Day of Action

Money is tight now, but it will get tighter in October. In response Enough is Enough are coordinating a Day of Action. There will be protests, strikes and pickets to support. Sign up on their website if you are interested! The local EiE group will also be taking part in a demonstration with Lambeth Unison and NEU on Saturday 24th September between 11am-1pm.

The 1st Oct is also when Don’t Pay plan to begin their strike, but only if 1,000,000 people sign up pledging to not pay their bills. If you are able to, please consider taking part.
