We are a collective based in Lambeth currently running a solidarity fund, monthly social events, and doing general solidarity and signposting support. We hope to encourage and support more mutual aid groups in the borough and expand what we do.

Next Solidarity Sunday: December 10th, 12pm-4pm

Next Solidarity Fund Opening: December 2nd 12pm

SOLIDARITY FUND

The solidarity fund gives £50 monthly grants to anyone living in Lambeth. The cost of living is going up and things are hard for many of us in Lambeth. If you could do with an extra £50 you can apply on the last Saturday of every month via this form. Sign up to our newsletter below to get a reminder a few days before, and on the day. You’ll need to provide a proof of address or arrange for us to meet you in person.

**Update** As of the middle of July we have moved the grant down to £30. This was a decision made by people who recieve money from the fund at the Monthly Coffee Morning. This is a temporary measure to try and get money to more people. We are working to raise more money to put the grants back up to £50.

We currently get about £1000 a month. We’re looking to increase this to around £2000. This would mean we could help around 40 people/families with grants of £50 each month. If you can donate one off or monthly, please do so at our Open Collective site

SOCIAL EVENTS

Each month we meet up on the second Sunday between 12-4, at the Advocacy Academy in Brixton. All are welcome to join. We share drinks, food, stories and support. We link up with groups and people around the borough to build a strong network. We aim to bring decision making about the solidarity fund to these mornings so that we are all collectively responsible.

SIGNPOSTING

If we’re unable to help we signpost people to different groups, services and people who may be able to offer support. Check out the More Support page to see a list of support offered around the borough.
